Laura is a writer of screenplays, novels and short stories. She is interested in writing for all ages and across all genres.

Screenwriting Employment

Screenwriter: Ladies who Lunch: Short film. Laura has also been commissioned to write a feature, and several shorts. These have included a romantic comedy, a coming of age drama, and a fairy tale

Script Editor: The Bride's Ball, The Santa Trap - produced by the Polkadot Factory

Script Reader: providing feedback in detail or brief as required for individual and company clients (Dec 2006 onwards).

Mentor: providing guidance and feedback to students undertaking an 'Access to Industry' film course (Dec 2009 - Apr 2010).

Script Development: Screen Academy Scotland, Script Development Workshop Leader.(Jun - Aug 2008).

Interactive Writer: Edinburgh Napier University, creator, writer and producer for a Wii game in an Interactive Knowledge Transfer project (Dec 2007 - 2008).

Audio Script Writer: Crocodile Clips, worked as one of a team of writers on the educational children's game Bunja (Apr 2007).
